Owatonna Public Library receives paper copies of some basic federal (IRS) tax forms and instructions. We place these in the Reading Room as we receive them. The Minnesota Department of Revenue does not supply paper copies of any state forms.
If you do not see what you need in the Reading Room or if you are searching from home, use the Federal and State links below to locate what you need. You can use OPL computers to search for and print tax forms; the cost is 10 cents per page. Library staff cannot help you choose or fill out forms and cannot offer tax advice.
From the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website:
"Need to find a product or place a telephone order? Visit the IRS Forms and Publications page to download products, or call 800-829-3676 to place your order."
Find Minnesota tax forms on the MN Department of Revenue website. Contact them by phone at 800-652-9094 or 651-296-3781.
The Federation of Tax Administrators offers a directory of all State Tax Forms.
West Hills Social Commons (formerly known as SeniorPlace) offers appointments for seniors and low-income taxpayers starting in February. You can find information on dates, locations, and who qualifies for free assistance from the MN Department of Revenue.
